Physical and Psychological wellbeing

The school medical centre is located in the centre of the campus. The centre has been renovated and now has improved access for students with mobility issues.

  • The school nurse, Mme Alexandrine Commenge, consults pupils from Monday afternoons until Friday morning,, evaluating problems and directing pupils to appropriate medical services if necessary.
  • A doctor consults pupils at the medical centre 3 times a week.
  • Emergencies and orthopaedic trauma are redirected to the Sainte Marie Clinique in Osny or to Pontoise hospital, either by taxi or ambulance depending on the nature of the problem, and in liaison with the SAMU (emergency services) if deemed necessary.

Student wellbeing and support

Saint Martin de France works with a qualified clinical psychologist, Mrs Siham DKHISSI.

All students and staff are able to take an appointment with her at school on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h00 to 17h30 and on Thursdays from 9h00 to 13h00.

Students are able to make their own appointments with Mrs Dkhissi. Parents can also arrange appointments for their children. Teachers and pastoral staff arrange appointments for a pupil if and when they feel it might be helpful.

The objective is to provide a welcoming service where students can be sure of a listening ear and support. The psychologist can be consulted for both work and personal issues. She supports students through all manner of difficulties such as study problems, relationship and family issues and the challenges of adapting to new situations.

The aim is to identify problems before they deteriorate and become more harmful and then address the issues by treating them or accompanying them.

Support can be given at times of crisis or just to evaluate a situation. Students can be orientated towards teams outside the school for treatment or information, if necessary.

Appointments can be on a one-off basis or take the form of a regular meeting over a longer period.

For more information, please contact Mrs DKHISSI by mail:
