MUSIC AT SAINT MARTIN – L’Orangerie
L’Orangerie was once the old chapel. It is now the Music Centre at Saint Martin. Directed by Stéphanie Carpentier, it is at the heart of the musical activity in the school. Open to all students, this beautiful music centre is where our students have the opportunity to develop and discover their musical talent.
Individual or group lessons are available throughout the whole year with professional musicians.
A wide variety of instruments are proposed including classical instruments such as the violin, viola, cello and bass, the piano, flute and saxophone. However, modern instruments are catered for ranging from the guitar, bass guitar, drums, singing and MAO.
The Orangerie aims to accompany pupils to discover the pleasure of music. All students have the opportunity to perform in public in the various different shows and concerts that take place throughout the school year such as the Christmas concert, in association with visiting professionals, chapel mass, school fair and the end of year celebrations.
