At Saint Martin de France, Christian living isn’t just about beliefs and traditions. It’s the way we live!
Pastoral life at school is all about relationships, the concept of accepting each other, and creating an atmosphere of give and take. All pupils warmly embrace the spirit and values that the school strives to maintain.
The Chaplaincy are involved with the students at all levels, from manning the tuck shop at break time to provide snacks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and croissants to organising debates or Catechism, the Chaplaincy at Saint Martin has a dynamic and vital role in the well-being of our students.
Pastoral life at Saint Martin is guided by the Oratorian Charter « School is not only a space to gain knowledge. It’s a space where the inner self develops.”

Throughout the school year, a variety of events are organised for the students.
Christmas and Lent are celebrated with a great deal of enthusiasm: A Christmas mass is followed by an outdoor gathering of staff and students with candles and sky lanterns. An extremely lively Carnival parade takes place each year.
The school works hard to help the students value and appreciate the true values of these moments.
Every year, the school supports a charity. This year it was “Mecenat Chirugical”, a medical charity which helps African children have access to major heart surgery in France. Speakers from the charity present their work and the students participate in fund raising events.
A weekly Mass takes place on Thursdays from 17h30 to 18h30 in the School Chapel.
